ECOLOGICAL TECHNIQUES AND ENVIRONMENTAL DANGER

     The relationship between ecological techniques and environmental damage is very complex.
     During the decade when there was a mandate to clean up the “stinking Boston Harbor,” Massachusetts curtailed dumping raw sewage into the water and cleaned the effluent pumped into the ocean. But there was a price. Lobstermen believe that the treated water now being pumped from the several towns contains chlorine and other chemicals that may be killing the lobsters.
