A special welcome to those who started 2014 by subscribing to CAROLYN’S COMPOSITIONS. Thank you. And thanks to everyone who reads this online magazine, and especially those who comment.
A 2014 version of Lizzy Borden aired January 25. If you watched it (or even if you didn’t) read LIZZIE BORDEN—A REENACTMENT. My opinion on the movie: it was misleading in numerous places. If you saw it I’d like to hear your opinion.
Many people complained about January’s frigid record-breaking temperatures and generous snowfalls, but I relished the weather. Then again, I didn’t have to leave the house most days.
Being housebound let me rest and recuperate following the triple-whammy holiday season and a couple of health issues, to continue work on unfinished projects, and to gain a good start on my New Year’s activities.
Hope reigns that I will complete two major projects in the current year. I’ll continue dedicating a portion each day to writing my novel and cleaning. Will either ever be completed? I’ll also keep posting on CAROLYN’S COMPOSITION (my online writing platform).
Watch for upcoming posts on iodine deficiency, religious freedom in the United States, and how to write an op-ed article.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all.
