About one year ago on the Upper Room devotional site a contributor, Cindy, brought her concern for her son, Jerry, who was facing a prison sentence. Over the year many Upper Room readers/contributors have prayed for Cindy, Jerry and their family. Since January there has been a daily countdown in anticipation of his release April 7th .

Cindy reports on Jerry’s strong faith and the preparation for return to his family.
In order to let Jerry know how deeply the Upper Room Community cares I’m compiling a list of persons who have been praying for him.
To compile this list I need I need to know who among the community has prayed for Jerry and Cindy. If you have done so I’m asking you to type your name in the comment box below. You may provide just your first name or your whole name. Where you live is optional.
You may also include any additional comments.
Unless you are subscribed to CAROLYN’S COMPOSITIONS your comments have to be approved before they are made public. My wife Carolyn and I will not approve the comments, so they will remain private. Neither your name, your comment, nor your email address will be made public.
I will take the names and comments and compile them to prepare a supportive list of Upper Room community members who have prayed for Jerry.
Many of you have also been praying for Victor, who is in prison and now has an April 1 release date. I would appreciate names and comments for Victor.

Praising God for all those who have offered prayer, encouragement, support, and love for me and for Jerry. I thank God for each brother and sister on the Upper Room site, truly a family of believers. Thank you all for the faithful prayers, for the countdown, and for the love shown to me and to my son, Jerry. Above all I praise God for HIs abundant love and for everything He has done in Jerry’s life. Forever in Christ, forever blessed.
