Our 45th Anniversary: September 3, 2011

Filed under: JOURNAL — carolyncholland @ 3:00 am

We’ve made it this far—forty-five years.

Do you think we will make it to fifty????

Thanks to our friend and a fellow photographer/writer, Dmitri, for the following series of photographs:

Monte and Carolyn Cornell Holland

There’s more…

  1. You’ll make it to fifty! We made it to 46 years just over a week ago so maybe we should plan a combo 50th??? Have a great day. You are both two of the nicest people on the planet! Best to you both, Fran

  2. A combo 50 would be great fun—something to look forward to! We could invite all our family members too. Wouldn’t that be a thrill? Carolyn

  3. Congradualtions on your 40th anniversary! I hope you make it to your 50th as well!
I want a combo for my 50th birthday, what I mean is that I’d like to celebrate not only my 50th year, but, have my own version of a family reunion as well! I tried to do this for my 40th, but, it didn’t work out exactly as I had planned! I need to write both on the invitations, and make it clear that It would not necessarily be to just celebrate my living and accomplishments for the past 50, but, also, to hopefully have most of my immediate family members present and enough preachers and/or lay persons to witness to said family members which would include all my nieces, nephews, sons in-laws, etc. It would be sort of a triple celebration, not just for myself but for all who attended, and participated! P.S. I shouldn’t be the one to host it though this time; it should be my son or someone else who is close and dear to me! Or a combo of these three!
